Preparing for return to OTB Tournament

After 17 years of being too ill to even attempt to play in a proper strong Tournament I have set myself a target of being ready for the next season.

The pic on this blog is of a rotting whale on a beach near my house. This leviathan is planning to rise from the depths and swim with the big fishes again.

Chess.com has reawkened my love of chess but I miss the challenge of a Congress. This blog will follow my attempts to reach the required level to do reasonably well.
