Every chess game always begins with the opening moves. But if you don't know which opening is best for White, this blog is definitely for you.
Here are some of the best White openings for beginners:

#1 London System: The London System is a popular 1.d4 opening for White, which has a reputation for being very solid. The London is considered a system because White can play the same basic setup for almost all of Black's responses. For this reason, the theory on the London is not as extensive as it is for other openings.

#2 Italian Game: This opening starts with 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4. The main goal is to quickly control the center with pawns and knights, then push the bishops to the most vulnerable positions. And then you can safely castle.

#3 Ruy Lopez: The Ruy Lopez is one of the most classic openings. It is named after a Spanish bishop who wrote one of the first books on chess. This opening attacks the knight defending the pawn at e5. White wants to use this type of attack to put pressure on Black's center.
