If You Are In A Loud Room, You Might Want To Switch To A Quiet Room So You Can Concentrate. Ok, Lets Get Off To The Basics! How To Move Pieces And How To Capture Pieces.
The King can Be Moved In Any Direction, But Only One Square At A Time. If Another Piece Captures This Piece, Its GAME OVER. WHOMP...Whomp...whomp...... Lets Check It Out.
This King Can Move Anywhere On The Board Except He He Can Only Move 1 Space At A Time.
Lets Check Out Another Piece, The Queen. The Queen Can Move Anywhere On The Board One Space, Or 7 Spaces She Can Move! Lets Check The Queen Out!
Thats How The Queen Moves, Anywhere On the Board. She Is The Most Powerful Piece On the Board! Her Worth Is 9 Points!
Lets Check Out the Rook!
The Rook Ca Move Anywhere, But Only In A Straight Line, Rooks Are Way Op! They Are Essential In Endgames! The Rooks Cost Is 5 Points. Now, Lets Get Into, The Bishop!
As You See, The Bishop Can Only Move Diagonal. Also, Bishops Are Assigned A Color When On That Color, The Bishop Will Stay On That Color. The Bishop Is Worth 3 Points. Now, Lets Check Into The Knight. the Knight Is Truly A Unique Piece. The Knight Can Jump Into A L Shape.
Also, You May Observe That The Knight Always Switches Colors, Unlike The Bishop, But Like The Bishop, The Knight Is 3 Points. Now Lets Look At The Final Piece, The Mighty Pawn! Believe Me, The Pawns Worth Is 1 Point, But, I Has Big Dreams. Trust Me On That Because Im Going To Prove It To You Right Now!
In The End, When You Get To The Very Last Rank, The Pawn Can Promote To A Queen, Rook, Bishop, Or Knight. The Pawn In the Beginning Can Move 2 Spaces Up, Or 1 Space Up.
