my poem is an attempt to compress the very real plausible consequence of creating a machine that thinks like a human brain. this plausible outcome could branch out like a search tree into the real world as artificial intelligence continues to advance the neural network algorithm through recursive reinforcement of deep learning. my fear is that we are training a machine to think with an artificial brain structure ... even though Humankind barely understands how the homosapien brain structure works ... let alone understand what true consciousness is.
i believe a good parallelism is when Deep Blue developed by Deep Thought crushed the defending world human chess champion [Garry Kasparov] in 1997.
Later in an interview, Garry Kasparov described Deep Blue as an "Alien Opponent" that played with moves that were "Alien".

{a game born through nobility,
tactical strategy built upon positional foresight,
queens and kings deepsearching advanced ability,
pieces shift and sweep to amplify might.
°°°
lasker won second world championship,
alekhine crushed capablanca with the juggernaut,
both understood through error is hardship,
two castles stacked, queen executes with mere thought.
°°°
magnus slow maneuvers his efforts,
slowly cracking the defensive pawn chain,
piece activity and space advantage by attack vectors,
increased pressure multiplies the strain.
°°°
now, human thought meets age of steel,
brute-force crunch and neural network algorithm, rise,
electro-circuit and cold-calculus, no feel,
orga-neuron verse mecha-synapse, demise.
°°°
because, the ghost in the machine,
every future calculated, every pattern visualized,
sees all human thought in between,
every move is rated, weighted, scrutinized.
°°°
strongest grandmasters bare no chance,
hyper-scaled neural links, ghosts never sleep,
background process the all seeing eye, enhance,
never eat, never feel, never fear the deep.
°°°
this is the ghost in the machine,
the age of cyber-steel,
the monster that views time as nothing,
the age of artificial,
°°°
the age of robot,
muscles and bone is no more,
the irrelevance of time, the clock,
only the age of the machine, war.}
