Now look at the position
What do you think the move should be?
If you said (The move that is on board below)
That means you are correct.
If you know what this tactic is then tell it in the comments section (No bad words should be used in the comments. Do not scroll above this if you have not written in comments unless you do not want to write in the comments)
But remember you will have to see if your opponent has a piece that is protecting the square on where you have to go and pin an opponent's piece to a king or some very important piece. Let us see an example: -
What do you think? What could be the move?
If you said the move given on the board below
Then you are right!
(If you have gotten any of the questions asked right message in the comments --
#Correct - (How much you have gotten correct)
The tactic is PIN.
A pin is when a smaller piece is ahead of a more important piece and the smaller piece cannot move otherwise it results in an illegal move or loss of a major piece.
There are two types of pins ---
type 1 - absolute pin
An absolute pin is when a piece is pinned and behind that piece is the king and you totally cannot move that piece as it results in an illegal move.
Let us see an example of an absolute pin.
When the rook moved to f1 the queen was pinned to the king and the queen cannot move as that results into an illegal move and so the queen is lost.
type 2 - relative pin
A relative pin is when a smaller piece is ahead of a major piece but the smaller piece can move but that ends up losing a major piece
Let us see another example
When the rook moved to e1 ----
it pinned the bishop to the queen, but the bishop can move but it results as white to lose the queen.
Let me give a puzzle
(No need to do a check)
White to play - Find a pin (Not a check)
wright the answer in the comments section
Tip 1 --- Always try to find relative pins or absolute pins
Tip 2 --- See if your opponent is trying to protect an important square and try to "Destroy the defender" (That will be my next blog)

For comments ---
