Hello Friends,

This is me Daiksh shah and today i would be introducing  you all to the Blackburne Shilling Gambit

What is the Blackburne Shilling Gambit ?

Ans:  The Blackburne Shilling Gambit is a trap played by black and against whites Italian game.

3rd move played by black which is nd4 might look as a blunder but it is not, after that there are 2 options the first is this-

over here nxd4 is not very tempting more tempting is nxe5 if white does nxd4 the gambit ends there but i dont think white would play that he would prefer capturing the free pawn why wouldn't you capture a free pawn now lets see the other variation and that's where the interesting part begins that is exactly where the trap begins

qg5 might look a terrible blunder but it is not can you find the winning combination for black  ?

Ans : Yes i found it white is likely to play nxf7 why not give a fabulous fork and earn a rook well lets see if white wants  the rook we want whites king lol

There are two variations we would be seeing both- the first variation goes like this

this was the first variation lets see the second-

these were the two variations both lead to force mate or a suffeciant advantage for us to lead a win i hope you liked both dont forget to share the blog and to get another brief on it here's a video so that you remember the trap life time if you are white and if anybody plays this trap simple play c3 black will capture the knight you can recapture it with your queen now if you are black and if anybody plays c3 when you are using this trap i would suggest capture the knight it might be a bit scary whites queen is out he pressurizing more on f7 but we can defend everything by playing nf6 d6 bg4 bc5 and then castle the only problem is we would be behind on  development but it does not matter we can develop our pieces with tempo moves

Here is the video -

Hope you enjoy it
