a little engine tournament :)

All engines had a memory of 377MB (not much...) and where useing only 1 thread! here is the benchmark:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 4.10GHz 4100 MHz (overclocked)
1-thread-cpu:

Those engines were playing without the usage of an opening-book and without the usage of any kind of tablebase.

Here are 4 games of this 1-round-tournament:
this was a game i was really looking forward to! I was sure that Stockfish would win this game but i was surprised on how close it was! LC0 played well and lost due to a tactical-and-calculation-error, you will also see this laterin the tournament aswell. LC0 gets a good position and than blunders it away kind of.....old-and-"Bad"-LC0-nets with use of CPU can fall for such things!

Monarch 1.7 just got outplayed here!

This was the fight for first place.....Fritz 11 SE had a good position out of the opening but got outplayed later on.

this was the game for third place and LC0 lost it in the same way as the first game i showed in this blog-post.

This was the Neural-Network i used for this for this old LC0-Version in this little tournament.

According to CCRL Monarch 1.7 has a Rating of 2044, so it should have beaten this version-and-network of Leela but it hasnt, therefor i astimated all those Ratings on my own based on this tournament and my experience with those engines. I would also estimate the Rating of Shallow Blue 2.0.0 higher than CCRLs 1711 because i approximately have a Blitrating of this but i only win a couple of games against "Shallow" even if i have time-odds, therefor i would give Shallow Blue 2.0.0 a Rating of approximately 2000 and GreKo 6.25 a Rating of around 2100 (-CCRL_GreKo 6.25: 2368)..... but ok it also depends on the CPU you use to extimate there Ratings somewhat correct, but i think i have done a good job doing this here. I also estimated the Ratings of this 1-threaded Stockfish 1.0JA and Fritz 11SE engines correct i think.....

"Bonus-game":

GAME OF THE TOURNAMENT:

I thought i was also playing in this tournament aswell, thats why i originally named the tournament: "Ich gegen die engines"-which means: "Me versus the engines".....but due to some inability on my part and and an "computer-error" at the end i didnt but anyway, i gues i would have had to fight GreKo 6.25 and "Shallow" an win.

Here the live-coverage of this tournament and int the end the game me vs stockfish 1.0ja.....:
