Here some infos about Stockfish: 

  1. Stockfish is the most powerful chess program in the world, since a couple of years.....
  2. It is developed by a team of programmers and is licensed under the GNU General Public License (...most noteable: Tord Romstard and Marc Costalba....)
  3. Stockfish is available for Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.....its free and open-source.....
  4. It uses the UCI protocol, allowing it to operate with different chess frontends.
  5. Stockfish can utilize multiple processor cores for faster calculations.
  6. The NNUE Evaluation (neural network) has been introduced to improve its playing strength.
  7. Stockfish has achieved impressive results in matches against strong opponents.
  8. A chess rating of 3700 is exceptionally high and currently beyond the capabilities of any human or computer player.
  9. The highest-rated human players in history have reached around 2850-2900 Elo points. Top computer chess engines have achieved ratings around 3500-3600 Elo points.
  10. Stockfish is highly regarded for its exceptional playing strength and widespread usage in chess applications and tournaments.

The position i gave them to play was the last playable position in the game i played against Stockfish16 (this game you see above obvioulsy.......) 

here some infos about "Houdini-chess" (-my second ever chess-program.....): 
  1. It was first released as freeware on May 15, 2010, under version 1.0, and immediately gained excellent rankings in tests.
  2. Version 1.5a, released on January 15, 2011, topped well-known engine rankings, displacing Deep Rybka 4 from the top spot.
  3. The author attributed its unusually high playing strength for a new engine to inspiration from open-source engines Ippolit and Stockfish.
  4. In September 2011, version 2.0 was released, which was now commercially distributed.
  5. Subsequent updates included version 2.0b on October 7, 2011, and version 2.0c on November 20, 2011.
  6. Version 3 came out on October 15, 2012, with two variants: Standard supporting up to six processors and 4 GB hash tables, and Pro supporting up to 32 processors and 256 GB hash tables.
  7. Houdini was also used as an analysis module in other applications, including Chess Assistant, Chess King, and the live portal of the German Chess Bundesliga.
  8. Version 4 of Houdini was released on November 25, 2013, adding support for the Syzygy endgame tablebases.
