Where in the world is David Pruess??

Where is David P? How come Danny's partner in chess and crime has dissapeared from chess.com? For a couple of years, he is doing vids, great blogs, lots of Chess.tv....and then, bam!, gone, without of word of explination? 

I miss him, a lot. 

Could someone please explain....
