My Genius Play ???
I have decided to do blitz for for the month of September, but I am doing the slowest version available which is 5 minutes with 5 minutes increment. I started on 3rd of September with 430 rating and my target was really to bring it to at least 500 by end of September.
On the first day of my blitz, my rating dropped to 419, but with some inspired plays on the next 2 days my rating slowly climbed up to 463 and my exploits continued until 8th of September when I broke the 500. I plateaued on 10th of September with 528 rating and been going through bad losing spell at the moment. I dropped to under 400 yesterday but really hope I can recover.
I am compiling some of my better games here just to remind myself that I am capable of playing some inspired chess. Let's go through some of my better games during my inspired period.
Game 1 - Perfect Game ?
I felt that I was always in control in this game and I kept making the right move. I found Qf6 on my 12th move to threaten the knight and pawn. His only move to protect the knight seemed to be rxd5, but that would be my check and mate the next move.

He did exactly just that the next move and my Queen promptly met his King and he resigned. The full game were below:
I really thought I played a perfect game, but the game review thought different. 2 inaccuracies!!! But no mistakes, no blunders. Not exactly perfect game, but a very good game for me.

Game 2 - Genius Play ?
I felt like a genius for this next game. Instead of exchanging bishop on c6, I found this fantastic idea of Qc2 move on move 12. The idea was to let him took my bishop on b5 instead, and took back with my knight and left the knight hanging there, hoping for him to take the "free" knight.

My Queen will then meet his King supported by my bishop from f4. Checkmate !!! The game finished exactly as my prediction. Genius !!!

chess.com think Qc2 is a blunder though because I guess a lot of people will realize that the knight is not exactly free. But I still feel like this is one of my better game. No inaccuracies, no mistakes, just 1 blunder (which I still think is a genius play!!!)

Game 3 - Mate to Mate
This game was kind of short, but probably my best game according to chess.com. This was the first time I received more than 90% accuracies review from chess.com.
It started with me defending one of the scholar mate variant on move 6.

I blocked the attacked with knight to f6, but he quickly took my pawn on e5 to chase my knight away. My bishop zoomed to g4 and my queen was ready to mate his king.

He found my undefended pawn on b7 and captured it with his queen escaping my bishop, threatening to capture my rook on a1. I was stunned for a while, not sure if I miss anything. After rechecking few times, I urged my queen to d1. Checkmate!!!

My best report so far. I hope one day I can play a game without inaccuracy, mistake, blunder and miss win. But with the way I am playing now, that day seems to be far away.

I am still lingering around low 400 for my blitz game, but I will keep playing and hoping for more and more beautiful play. Until next time!!!
