Carlsen playing Chess 2.0?

What is this new technique Magnus is using? It seems that when you are on his level you start inventing your own insane looking openings. He has now won multiple games in the top level with this type of opening.

I'm not sure if "The Plow" is the legitimate name for this opening, but I guess it's fitting, plowing all these super GMs off the board.

If you are this strong, it seems your creativity and psychological gameplay is more important than theory, since you are taking your opponent out of preparation.
