My relationship with FNAF

Since I'm on chess.com for quite a while, I decided to talk a bit about myself:

I'm a huge FNAF fan since FNAF 2 was released. A (former) friend of mine introduced me to FNAF 2 and I just fell in love with that game. She offered me to play it on her mobile, so I did until I saw Toy Chica peeking out of the vent (Night 1, just to be clear xD), panicked and handed her mobile back... 😅

That night I also had nightmares about Toy Chica coming out the vent and staring into my soul BUT that didn't stop me from downloading it myself. I became really good at it, even made "FNAF friends" in school with whom I theorized a LOT and played the other games as well. I'm not a "theorizer" for many years now, partly because the lore is getting more and more funky but I enjoy it still. On the other hand, theorizing costs a lot of energy, which I don't have anymore because... well, it doesn't matter.

To me, the animatronic characters were the most fascinating things in the games. I always liked robots but animatronics are a bit different and I just love everything about them.

My favourite animatronics were Foxy from FNAF 1 and Golden Freddy from FNAF 2 (Goldie just looks cooler in FNAF 2) but since the animatronics and the games developed so much and FNAF Security Breach was released, I just fell in love with the Daycare Attendant. Not in a simp kind of way but somehow he's giving me so much comfort, that I want him to adopt me. xD

The Daycare Attendant has so much personality and I relate to him so much, that he's not only my new favourite animatronic but also my first ever comfort character.

I also got the Collector's Edition plush which was in that Collector's box (if you know FNAF, you might know what I'm talking about) and a little Moon shoulder rider plushie from Youtooz (I'm so proud I have them! x3)

My little Moony provides good company and is my loyal companion...

And he's my emotional support plush...

Since the DLC was released, the game introduced Eclipse (Sun and Moon merged together).

The whole fandom was shocked (including me) because Eclipse was such a gentle sweet heart. Everyone expected them to be extremely aggressive or something. JUST ANYTHING BUT THAT!

After I watched the scene where the Daycare Attendant turns into Eclipse for the first time, I just wanted to celebrate my birthday with them so bad. Their soft spoken "Happy birthday!" just got me.

I mean, who wouldn't want to celebrate their birthday with Eclipse???

Well, they are in a very bad condition which might creep out some people... I know, I know...  but as I said... they're such a sweetheart! 🥹

(Also, if you're wondering: according to the FNAF Wiki it's he/him for Sun & Moon and they/them for Eclipse)

I'm excited for FNAF Help Wanted 2, since I saw a mini game with Moon in a merry-go-round on YouTube and I wonder what the Daycare Attendant will become in the future.
