2100 Blitz! | April 11th, 2025
Ladies and gentlemen, today I gladly announce my hiatus for blitz. I reached 2100 in blitz! inserts confetti
17 games played, 10 wins, 7 losses, we pushed from 2071 to 2100! Nothing can describe how satisfied I am to finally come back to 2100. This is not my first rodeo (my peak is 2104 back in November last year), but I've been stuck in 1900 for so long, this is just a relief for me. From now on, I'm quitting blitz (for now), and I am going to start grinding my rapid back to where it belongs, also 2100.
I've played some nice games. I've also played some dumb games. Here's an example of a really dumb game.
But then, I've quickly shrugged off the tears, took a break, came back, and I was crushing every opponent I see. During the process to that, I think I've played two of the best miniatures I've ever played in my entire life, undoubtedly. I want to annotate these absolutely amazing games, please enjoy these masterpieces of opening play. I had nothing to complain today, this was just a wonderful day, I am sleeping good this weekend.
On a very side note, today was the community lesson hosted by the Improvers Club by Coach Dane! This is the second one of the year, and I am so grateful to participate (even though we had technical difficulties XD). I got to see Dane with way better examples than last time, providing very useful insights that can be applicable to all levels (even me, I was very inspired by him), and he answered one of my questions firsthand too! So yeah, today, I had nothing to complain, I'm going to keep this blog very short like that.
