My Thirteenth Chess Tournament, Game 1 (Quiet Queen's Pawn)

In this game I was paired up with one of the lower rated players in my section. Supposedly, he was relatively new to chess. That probably explains why he didn't play a particularly ambitious opening, even though he had the White pieces. The game seemed a bit drawish after the queens were exchanged early in the opening, though the resulting imbalances in the queenless middlegame gave me the upper hand. Even if my opponent hadn't walked into a mating net, I still would have won easily because of my more active pieces and material advantage near the end of the game. Here is the game:
