Another chess book finished
I managed to finished the above book recently and found it useful. Even though the illustrated games are rather old (the opening moves are not as strong as modern times) but the positional ideas still work. Irving Chernev writes some nice pointers in his annotations.
The heart of chess lies in the middlegame and in the endgame. Yes, I know that starting well (ie openings) is important but at sub ELO 2200 level I think if one has the stronger middlegame you'll probably win majority of games. =)
