Chess Openings For White (Beginners Version)
We all know you need a opening for a chess game. Chess openings are important because the starting position of the board is very poor. Your pawns are in the way of all your pieces, nobody's controlling the center, and no threats are being made.
Every chess master was once a beginner.

The King's Indian Attack
1. Nf3 d5 2.g3
The King's Indian Attack (KIA) is a great opening for beginners to play as White. The KIA can be played with the same first five moves against almost any Black opening. White plays d3, Nf3, g3, Bg2, and 0-0 to get a good position. The fastest way to fianchetto the king's bishop and castle is the King's Indian Attack (KIA), the reverse of the King's Indian Defense. White just plays Nf3, g3, Bg2, and 0-0, before seeing how to proceed.
King's Pawn Opening
1. e4
The ancient King Pawn opening, "best by test" according to Bobby Fischer and perhaps the oldest first move in the modern version of chess. This is the most aggressive and most attacking first move because it immediately stakes a claim to the center and frees up the queen and king bishop.
- Pros
- Control of key central squares
Rapid development
Quick kingside castling
- Cons:
- Requires more precise opening knowledge
Less long term pressure if Black defends -
As we see here, this opens up the bishop and does a attacking and aggresive move.
