My first win

Hello. My name is Jake Milligan. Im not extrememly good at chess but I love playing it. I first learned from my fifth grade teacher when we were studying the dark ages. He taught us about chess. Ever since I have loved chess. but heres a story i like to tell. Yesterday at 10:30 at night, I was playing my father in a game of chess. Hes always saying to me " One of these days your going to beat me. And I'll never beat you again. Well last night, he had two queens and a rook and a pawn. I only had 2 pawns, my king, and a bishop. i got one of my pawns down the board. He took my other pawn with his original queen. Then i got him in the corner and had my queen in a line with his king, if he moved in any diagnal motion i would take him and my king was right there. For the first time in my entire life. I beat my dad by a checkmate. Good Game dad.
