A perfect game!
It's rare that I play a game without doing something laughably bad according to my computer, but this was one of those games. I was proud of this for many reasons:
- My opening prep paid off, as I played 4.Nf3! to avoid black's 4.e4 Nf6 5.Nc3 e5! idea
- I resisted the temptation to play a3 numerous times, sticking to classical principles
- I calculated black's knight jumps well, and was careful to keep c4 under control, developing my attack more slowly to restrict counterplay
- I calculated moves 13 and 16 really well, settling on patient improvement early, and bold break-through later.
The mix of preparation and calculation paid off with this nice miniature. I hope you like it!
