I like to thank my opponent when a game ends, especially a live game. And while chess.com is an English-language website managed in the USA, we all know that the chess players on here are an international community. This is one of the many things I love about this site.

I can't help but wonder if it's a courtesy to a player to thank her/him in that person's native language. Online translating tools can be a good place to start sometimes (not always!), but even the best of 'em don't always capture authentic idiomatic uses of a language. What's the best way to say, "Thanks for the game" in different languages? Below is the beginnings of a list. I welcome corrections and additions.
