Chess openings part one: The Hammerschlag

Hello, and welcome to part one of my learning chess opening series.

Today, my opening is the strange Hammerschlag opening.      

You may think, why would white do this? Well, I told you, it’s strange. Let’s take a deeeper look into this weird opening.

The Hammerschlag actually controls the center very well and is safer than you think. Here is an example of a game with white playing the Hammerschlag.

As you can see, the Hammerschlag opening is an playable, if not amazing opening that we all can play.
