Before you jump to any conclusions, I am not referring to the often complained about dis-connect or the recently instated rule about 30 second chat delays for non-premium members.

I am talking about the players who accept a seek then abort, abandon or resign after only two or three moves and sometimes without making the first move. A few nights ago, I had two aborts, two abandons and a resignation after three moves, all in less than ten minutes. If you don't intend to finish a game DO NOT ACCEPT THE SEEK.

In my opinion, chess was not intended to be played in one or three or five minutes, but if that is your preference then more power to you. However, when the open seek clearly states a time of, for example, 60 minutes or more, then any reasonably intelligent person should be able to conclude that it is probably not going to be a fast paced game and could last for as much as two hours.
