Women's History Month Guest Lecture: GM Irina Krush

We are proud to announce Grandmaster Irina Krush will conclude our celebration of Women's History month in midtown Manhattan, New York!

GM Krush has been lauded not just for her illustrious career as a chess player, but also for her skills as a speaker as demonstrated in her interviews and roles as a commentator. In 2023, she was the commentator of the World Chess Championship 2023 FIDE in Kazakhstan and recently, she was selected to commentate at the upcoming FIDE Candidates 2024 tournament in Toronto, Canada. 

She is the first and only female GM representing the United States, and she won the US Women's Chess Championship 8 times. It is indeed wonderful and fitting to have her conclude the Women's History month.

We are honored to have her join us in-person before she leaves New York again!

Part of the proceeds will be donated to local NY chess clubs self-funded by organizers (must be running for at least one year).
