The polish opening

A recent game I had with the polish opening: 1.b4

The purpose of this game? I believe that white was looking for a quick win of his pet opening and didn't count on the KID set-up, afterwhich he was drawn into unchartered territory. It seems obvious that he lacked strategic understanding during the middle game which costs him the game. Lesson to learn here: Chess is not just about the opening, it's about the middle game and the endgame as well, so practice all 3 phases of the game equally. And DON"T forget tactics please!
