The road to ELO 2000: Fighting draw
Just played a good game of fighting chess which ended in a draw. Both my opponent and I missed winning chances, but a draw is a decent result nevertheless.
On a side note, I feel more confident in my ability to play chess recently. I think confidence and patience are key mental attributes necessary for chess improvement. Keep telling yourself that no matter how high an opponent's ELO, it is always possible to beat them if you play the best moves.
