Found My Old Blue Jeans

Indigo blue

Once  there were no blue jeans. Everyone had white jeans. Some also had red jeans, Imagine Dallas, with no blue jeans. Imagine Kansas. Imagine Friday night in a world without blue. Oh how sorry we would be. 

Babies are often born with blue eyes. Babies can not see blue, Because they don't have color rods and cones yet. Babies are 'some assembly required' after acquired. When the babies get their rods and cones they see red and yellow first, and then later and lastly blue. But then, there is hardly anything blue to see. I mean look around, see anything blue? Is any  of it breathing? 

Unicorns are blue. 

I said hardly, but you are not going to get blue jeans out of unicorn. Even if you smash them up and put them in a can and let them soak all night long, still not going to have blue jeans. Not going to get them from blue birds, or blue fish or blue butterflies. Because they are not blue. Not when you smash them. Or, take them out of the sunlight. 

And you need more, more than just blue. The blue near the sun at its zenith will not do. Blue jeans must be indigo blue, to fade to the correct shade to put babies in on Friday night. 

But once there were no blue jeans.
