4PC Game Invites [NOT IMPORTANT]

THIS IS NOT AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

All I want to do in this post is set an expectation. I know when I publish it, you'll all get notifications, and I really didn't mean for that to be the case, but it's automatic, and I can't shut it off for just this post - oh well, so sorry.

When I'm online in Four-Player Chess, I set my "allow invites" to be from friends only. I usually accept all friend requests, so it's not a big deal to add me if you want to play with me. However, don't get your hopes up about playing your custom position with me, or inviting me to be your teammate in a teams game; I hardly ever accept the game requests.

I'm not big into teams play in the first place, and I spend a lot of time as a 4PC admin/Custom Games Admin reviewing new custom positions, so really, when I'm not officially testing with our team, I don't usually have much interest in evaluating your ideas for custom positions. Hey, even as an admin, I'm allowed to play for just the fun of it too!

Bottom line is, I feel a bit bad for constantly declining game invites, but now I have this explanation published, so my hope is that you don't take offense if I don't want to play with you.

Feel free to send the invites -- it's no bother to me -- just, as I say, don't get your hopes up =]. The thing that does bother me to no end though is when players spam me with invites. If I decline your invitation, don't send another please. The reason I have my invites set to "friends only," is so that I can easily take care of a spam-inviter by un-friending him (fair warning).

I guess I'll also use this post to reiterate my policy of communications: I'm a 4PC admin, and my goal with that position is to be a facilitator to your 4PC fun! If you have questions, concerns or comments about anything related to 4PC, I'm always available to send a DM or message to. I don't block any players, and in most cases, I'll respond to your inquiries speedily.

Anyhow, apologies again for the meaningless intrusion into your notification bar.
