Basic mating patterns
1. White to play and check mate in 1.
Scholar's mate
2. White to play and checkmate in 1.
Fool's mate
3. White to play and mate in 2.
Backrank mate
4. White to play and check mate in 3
Smothered mate
5. White to play and check mate in 2
Smothered Mate
6. White to play and mate in 3
The one with 2rooks/ rook+queen
7. White to play and check mate in 3
King+rook mate
8. White to play and check mate in 2
Bishop+Queen
9. White to play and check mate in 3
Knight+Queen
10. White to play and check mate in 1
