We all know that Ding Liren broke many records and is currently the world champion, but Magnus Carlsen fears that Ding may be "Permanently BROKEN".  

Magnus Carlsen recently commented that, "I think that Ding is permanently broken and may never come back like how he was in his peak around 2018 or 2019".

Ding Liren responded that 'he is getting repaired' and will come back in the future. Recently in the Norway chess 2024 Ding's performance is really poor and he said that his goal is to not finish in last place!!
