2025 Tunnelvision Series
The Columbia Chess Club in Columbia, South Carolina, USA, presents the Tunnelvision series as a recurring monthly tournament serving chess players in South Carolina and surrounding locales. Â The tournament is held in the middle of each month as a 4-Round G/45;d5 event (beginning in 2024, G/45;inc.5).
$1000 in Prizes is guaranteed at each event. Active US Chess Federation membership is required, and can be purchased/renewed at uschess.org/join-us-chess.

Format |
4 Round Swiss. Time control is G45/inc.5 (45 minutes starting time with a 5-second increment), which is USCF dual-rated under both Quick and Classical. All equipment provided. USCF Rules Apply, active USCF Membership required. Tournament has three sections: Championship (1600+), Under 1600, and Under 1000. Players may register for a higher section if they are within 100 USCF rating points of the cutoff.
