The Resurrection not a Lie

Difference between legend and lie: legend allows untruth as making something stand out as a kind of mnemonic device.  A lie is not exactly antitruth but more of a deception pointed toward amusement in creating a false idea to laugh at frustrating someone who trips and falls by ignorance or is blind to something we have done.

The Resurrection of Jesus is probably closer to being a legend, making the new religion shine as unique among other religions of the time, as a mnemonic (memory help) device to never forget that Jesus meant new life.

But the Resurrection would not be a lie because it is useless insofar as amusement is concerned and could not be used to get away with something we may have done
