Check! Maybe not...

You know, I have been playing chess for most of my life. And, I have heard a lot of different things over the years, terminology and different languages, describing chess stratagies and moves. But, just in the past few days, I ran across a term I never thought possible.

 The term merges technology and the old fashioned chess board together since 1980 and 1981. The name Atari means an important word in chess. Atari is from the Japanese language meaning..."Check!" Yes, the old Atari 400  and Atari 800 is what I am refering to. Back when the Apple II, TRS-80, and Commodore PET were first introduced. Sounds weird, huh? Try it sometime. Yell it out loud a few times, even when you play a game with a friend or two. Yell it out on here when you are playing a game or two on here as well. Trust me, you will enjoy it. :)
