Ooh, I have catched the sun on my finger. That’s the sign that I have a great idea. It is all about the light. It is the same with solar chess too. Win the game and put the light on Your side. I am Igor Akrap the creator of solar chess idea. I am a chemical engineer and I like to play chess. You see, I have put all my passions together to bring this game to light. I have been working on my idea for more than one year.

The inspiration:

Before one year, when I was on an interview at a solar company, I was looking around the whole production process of solar panel, how it's made. Then suddenly I saw that the solar panel fields are quite the same like on the chess board. Afterwards, I was outside and the sun hit me like a thunder, I then came up with my idea. During the way back home, in the bus I was thinking about the whole process of solar reaction, while the sun still hit me through the window. I thought I could combine glass chess with solar panel to explain how it works!
