Desperado Actually Works!
A lot of people don't know it, because they never use it, or better, 'they never plan to use it.
When I introduced myself to Chess I saw this "Desperado' play and it seemed to me at the time that it was time to resign. "That was never going to work", I thought to myself. Well, it does.
You don't plan for it in the opening, like The Bird", but sometimes things line up and if you're clever about it, it's an interesting end game.
I've set the Begin for Annotation at move 35. That's where it gets interesting as the chase begins! We both made a couple of Blunders as we play quite fast, but I got a win from what felt like it was certainly going to be a Loss.
