Me Vs My brother
So, right now, my brother and I have summer break, and what better way to spend it than to have a World Championship style match against each other.
If you weren't keeping up the Anand-Topalov match(that took place a while ago), then here are the basic rules (the full set of Regulations can be seen here):
- There are 12 games(which we've changed to 6)
- Colors will alternate each game
- The Time Control is 40/2 20/1 SD/15 with the final time control having 30 second increments for each move(we also added a 5 second delay for the first two time controls)
So anyways, we had our first match today and it turned out quite well. Although we didn't take as much time as I had hoped for, I feel we both played very well for our strengths. By the end, for the 35 moves we'd made, we each spent an hour making them.
So lets cut to the chase and get to the game.
Although there are no real dates that we are having these matches, we should finish them in a week or two.
