Well the move to yesterday's problem (the Bobby Fischer one) turned out to be startingly obvious - I was overawed by the fact that it was a real game.  Bit more Chess Mentor with some nice lessons about the importance of overall positions vis a vis "material balance".

Update: forgot to mention that I am still pondering the Scandinavian Defence.  The first reaction I had was that it invites immediate pawn capture and then recapture by Black Queen who can then be attacked in turn and have to retreat to the starting block - so what's gained? That of course is the point of Attila's homework.
