Well it hasn't all gone according to plan - played a number of games but did little analysis.  I noticed I made some bad mistakes in a few games (opponents were good so not making excuses): for example not seeing a fairly obvious mating move against me, not thinking of an obvious capturing chance.  So I thought back to basics and started beginners' openings in Chess Mentor.  The idea of this is to reinforce basic principles.  Nothing interesting to include at this stage but hope to add something soon.
