Blog 12 Trapped Dog!!!

This is a story about how my dog, Smokey, got stuck under the deck trying to help my cats—not once, but two times.

To fully understand, you need some context: my dog is a Husky, and Huskies love digging holes and protecting our cats.

One day, she decided to help the cats dig a hole all the way to the bottom of the deck. Being a Husky, the work was quickly completed. This led to a problem: the cats kept fighting over who got to sleep under the deck.

After seeing this happen so often, Smokey decided enough was enough. She needed to stop the fight. So, she leaped into the wayyyyyyyyyyy too small entrance… and got herself stuck.

After a lot of yelping and barking, we dug her out. That would have been enough trouble, but six months later, she tried the same thing—and yep, got stuck again. This time it was even harder to get her out, since she had grown bigger.
