Blog 22 Fox Theft!

Hi! This story is about our neighborhood fox and its theft. For context we do have foxes' and they think that are gold balls. . . were eggs.

This is a bit of an old story, it started on one afternoon when my I was picking up golf balls in our second back yard.

When I finished picking up all the golf balls I realized that there was a lot less then there should be. After I came back to the house and told my family, they told me they remembered seeing a fox the day before.

Then my brother looked up "what animals take gold balls," and the first answer was FOXS. We soon put two and two together, this led to us starting to hide the golf balls before night(not before losing a sizeable amount.)

Mad at the fox my dad bought a fox trap and set it up, after weeks or checking the trap everyday we found it . . .  broken. We realized that we caught the fox but it escaped. We never trapped or saw it again.

The opening went well with me coming out on top. On move four white attempts a failed gambit with them blundering there knight but forcing me to move my king.

I blundered on move 9 giving white a great queen piston. on move 14 a series of trades cleared my left side of the field.  This was fallowed by a "brilliant" move with my knight to f6 which won me his rook and later the game
