Blog 26 Golf kittens!

This story takes place on a weekend a couple of years back. My dad and I were going golfing, and by the first hour we had reached the 6th hole. After hitting our drives, we walked over to put the golf balls in—and instead of golf balls, we found two kittens, one black and one orange.

I was personally confused—what would two kittens be doing on a golf course in November? But I knew we couldn’t leave these poor cats alone, so we stopped our golf game and headed back to the car with the kittens tucked safely in my hoodie.

When we reached the car, we drove to PetSmart for some food. We put the food out in a small tray and gave it to the cats. But instead of eating peacefully, they fought each other over the food. Classic sibling behavior. So we put a golf scorecard between them, and they finally continued eating.

After that, we drove home and put them in our guest bedroom. For a couple of weeks, we fed them, took care of them, and played with them. Joey was desperate to play with them, while Shadow was… well, mad at me. Eventually, we gave the kittens to some friends, and I still occasionally get to see them.

Hey! Before I go, I’d like to make a short but important announcement. This might be my last blog—or one of my last. I’ll still upload funny pet stories when they happen, but these are all the ones that have already occurred.

I started making blogs just to share funny pet stories, but it has grown into so much more than I ever expected. It has even sparked new projects and a love for storytelling I never knew I had.

Thank you, friends, for all the support, and a special thank you to these friends who have been here all along. If I didn't mention you still know I still very appreciate much it.
