Blog 8 hopping cat

For context, I have two cats: Joey, who is sweet, happy, and orange, and Shadow, who is grumpy and gray.

When they first met, there was a fence between them so they wouldn’t fight. My cat Joey did not like this at all.

So, when we weren’t looking, he jumped over the fence and was about to pounce on Shadow, who was facing the opposite direction. Luckily, I managed to grab Joey at just the right moment, stopping a huge disaster.

You could see the fear in Shadow’s eyes when she turned around and realized how close she came to being pounced on by a three-pound kitten—especially considering she was a seasoned fighter.
