For those wondering about my rating climb: I stopped playing 5-minute chess and now only play a few 10-minute games. I've also quit playing unusual openings - just wanted to point that out.

While it was valuable to have played 5-minute chess for a few years, those games often ended up being "I didn't see that" moments. And although this led to fun and tricky play, the only benefit I gained was developing a sense of quick position assessment. Now I use that quick assessment skill while also thoroughly thinking through my moves.

Also i don't go in direct revanche, it's just because each game i play i analyze first, to see what could be improved i don't play another game directly after a game. There is no need to rush.

Cheers!
