chess.com ratings
Chess.com suggests a range of 1223 to 1823 for my games.
I have a hard time understanding why the default range of ratings is so huge on chess.com.
Not that it would be impossible for someone with a rating of 1223 to beat me or that I might possibly beat someone with a rating of 1823, but I would have to assume they had played very few games, for either of those things to occur.
In general, I find a range of plus or minus 50 to give me a pretty good game. And I would certainly be willing to play in a plus or minus 100 range.
The plus or minus 300 points, however, seems absurd!
