An enjoyable game

So, this is my favourite game in quite a while, from the 2nd round of the chess.com 2022 daily championship. I won my first round group fairly comfortably though 22-0 is not a fair reflection of the games, I was getting smashed in a couple of them before my opponents lost their way, and there were of course a number of time-outs too.

Second round, I was 2nd highest rated in my group, but the top ranked was a previous amateur champion of his state (in USA) who said in his profile "One of the best untitled players you'll ever face." Sure enough, he raced ahead of the group and was soon sitting several points clear at the top of the table. I didn't expect to beat him, but did look forward to the challenge of a couple of tough games....
