My Favorite 1.d4 Miniatures #1 (Queen's Gambit Accepted)

Miniatures are just plain fun. Who doesn't enjoy a good crushing—swift and overwhelming. They are also instructive. Let's face it, we don't always play brilliantly in the opening, and occasionally we deserve to get punished. Miniatures are a great way to learn how to crush... and avoid falling victim.

However, I have gripe with the miniature literature. We've seen countless King's Gambit, Giuoco Piano, and Najdorf Sicilian miniatures. But the 1.d4 miniature is often not to be found. Being a 1.d4 player I take offense, and so have decided to rectify the situation.

I've decided to define a miniature as game of less than 25 moves where one side finds themselves in a lost position without obviously blundering. After digging though the databases I've found some good ones!

Behold my favorite 1.d4 miniatures!

Stay tuned for future miniatures! and don't forget to friend me in order to suscribe!
