Hello all Chess Lovers!

Thank you for taking a few minutes out of your day to read my very first blog! I decided to write on Chess.com simply because I love chess, and the art of achieving a sweet victory against a formidable opponent! I've been playing chess for many years, but it wasn't until the last two years that I play every single day thanks to chess.com

My goal is to write a blog every few days about keeping calm in the midst of an intense chess battle, and this means clearing your mind of questions. Doesn't that sound familiar? Like Yoda telling Luke clear your mind of questions, right? The concept of being peaceful, calm, and confident in the midst of battle dates back thousands of years to the far East in Japan. Are you thinking of Samurai? I am.

The point of my first few blogs will be to sharing with the world how to keep calm in a fast paced game. I played one friend the other day, and he has over 25,000+ games in the last few years! Wowza! Playing fast games are fun, but I believe it also shows our raw intuitive nature about us human beings, and our rational decision making process we have under duress.

Clear your mind of questions. Under time constraint, the pressure causes us to move a piece we'd otherwise normally wouldn't have placed. I hope over the next few of my blogs, we can study clearing our mind, and understanding our own intuition. So, I know it was a little short this first time, but thank your for reading and in the next few days I will go over some games!
