The FIDE Grand Swiss and Women's Grand Swiss are open 11-round tournaments with a time control of 100 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 50 minutes for the next 20 moves and 15 minutes for the remainder of the game, with a 30-second increment from the first move.

In both tournaments, two places are up for grabs in the 2026 Candidates Tournaments.

According to the tournament regulations, the first tiebreaker for players with the same number of points is the average rating of their opponents, meaning the lowest Elo rating of the opponent is discarded from the calculation.
