What are badges and cheers? How are they awarded?

Remembering that I made these articles with the last update on October 1, 2021, there have been no substantial changes to 2023, continuing with basic definitions, I still do nothing different from the Chess.com support sources, I have noticed that it is not necessary so much change in writing.

The prizes themselves are an interactive and very fun way to congratulate your opponent, you can say good game, excellent play or just for fun 1. There are two types of prizes Badges🔰 and Congratulations👏.

Badges

They are the ones that are awarded from a game, either when you finish it or you can search for the game in your archive, it is important that you identify the Information tab, it is a bit complex to find the prize link, you have to scroll the window fully to send the badge of departure, look at the following gif example:

As far as I was able to carry out the inventory, there are 84 badges, I will already be detailing each message, what remains to be mentioned from the original article is the following image, where there is a search bar so you can find the appropriate pin 😜🤪 .

Cheers / Community

A personal note, there are many very funny Spanish translations, the English translation of congratulations would be "congratulations", on the Chess.com platform, they place it as "cheers", if it is translated literally, it would be like when you take a drink drink 🥂 with someone and you toast, you say "cheers" which in Spanish is "salud"🤭. At 2023 there was a small change that was called "Community" in English "Community", but it was not called "Congratulations" again as far as can be seen.

An example, of the wrong translation into Spanish, which is, in turn, very funny 🤣, is the following, "Ratón de biblioteca" in English is "Chess Book Worm", which translates literally, "Gusano de biblioteca", the really funny thing is that the drawing doesn't match the bookworm at all🤣. A worm in something organic like an apple would have a better scenario🤣. Has anyone ever seen a worm in the library 🤔, I would say, a mouse, yes, but a worm?🤷‍♂️ that Chess.com hired me, and I advised them correctly in Spanish 🤣.

I have a proposal for you and the community pin with the worm surrounding a book:

Chess Book Worm

I am definitely reading too many chess books. You could consider me a chess book worm! How about you? Are you addicted to reading chess books also?

There are curious facts, there are two congratulations that cannot be granted, in other words, they are granted exclusively by the user @CHESScom, I have not found more, if you know of another that is special, please in the comments.

"Successful referral!" They are awarded to you for sponsoring someone, or referring someone with through the email link or a shared link (https://www.chess.com/friends).

"Happy Anniversary!" They grant it to you as its name indicates, they give you a congratulations for each year completed on the platform, it is related to an achievement called "Happy Anniversary". But this article is not about achievements but about Badges and Congratulations. However, this is another curious fact and it is that before, the "Congratulations" balloon was the old form of the achievement. Next, images of what I indicate in these curiosities.

Happy Anniversary!

Congrats on being a long-time member! Thanks for spending a whole year on Chess.com - we appreciate your support!

Thank you for referring your friends to Chess.com! sindog38 has just joined the site because of you!

The way in which a user can send, below is the gif to perform the action, I will make an article in the future dedicated to showing the 2020 version versions and the updates now, also the classification by groups, since there are many related to chess, sports, food, celebrations of special dates, moods and much more with which you can express feelings.

Closing this article, "Cheers", I will show below a funny pin: "When Chuck Norris...". It must be an American joke🤭.

Cuando Chuck Norris...
