What are achievements?

They are prizes that are received by reaching objectives within the Chess.com platform, the difference to the other prizes, these are earned, some are earned by the action of others, the achievements can be similar to trophies but you do not necessarily have to play a tournament to get them all 1. You earn achievements for almost all the actions you perform with your user, you put a profile picture, that's it, your first achievement!; you play with the vision trainer, instant win!

Fun facts😳🤪, as of 2021, there were 136 achievements, currently there are 144, you can see them all in my friend @Phiro's showcase. When you open an account in Chess.com there is an initial list of 88 achievements plus the elite trophies that are 8 (later on and in detail I mention this), that is, there are 48 achievements that are activated, arise, appear automatically, I I call them hidden achievements, or well I guess they are the famous "easter eggs" from video games. It turns out that the user @News gave an announcement of new achievements, with 88 being as of 2018.2 The first indication, a list with 111 achievements by a user in the general forums, that I found, was in 2018. 3

In 2019 I think it was a crazy year 🤪😵 there are many lists and they are all very confusing, I did not find an exact number on Chess.com, what's more, many achievements did not appear on the home page, they only activate when you reach them, which generated very scattered information from inventories without images, an achievement that they always mention and it is the achievement related to the master Alexander Alekhine, but he is all a "Bigfoot", no one posts an image or has achieved it, it is an entire "urban legend".

Something that seems sad to me, both from Chess.com and from users, is making lists without a reference image, due to this detail until now we have lost the entire community of knowing what the achievements were like since 2012😢. In order not to continue, since I will deal with these data in another achievement article, I will include videos and some before and after images.

In 2021 it had 137 achievements (February). I have a hypothesis and I say this, because there is no certainty or at least I have not found an article or official information from Chess.com. The lessons before had goals and were an achievement for each one, being, "Kindergarten" - "Children's Garden" you did a lesson; "Grade School" - , "Elementary School" : you completed 10 lessons; "Chess College" - "Chess University"; and "Graduate Studies" - "Postgraduate Studies", is reached by completing 1000 lessons completed, currently the "Lessons" achievement unifies these four old achievements.

I guess the same thing happened with daily games and live games, an achievement for each step was unified into a single achievement:

I have been trying to compile and on my own since 2021 to rescue the memory of the Chess.com awards, I hope it is appreciated by the staff, users and those interested in the pedagogical and didactic importance of this interesting topic.

There are very simple achievements such as logging in 7 days in a row you get "Dedicated". There are very complex achievements that require a lot of time and dedication: "Addicted to problems", you have to complete 10,000 tactical exercises or, as they are popularly known, puzzles   😨. There are achievements that can be acquired with a free user, others exclusively with a Gold and Platinum user, and others that you have to acquire the Diamond account yes or yes. I expose Free Achievements, free achievements but very complex to achieve or you must be patient or depend on other users to obtain them. The Christmas bot prizes in a section, the League prizes and the rating prizes since there are three main articles.

I was going to list the 144 achievements, but I see that it would be too long and I propose to make an article dedicated to making this classification.
