Anti Slump!

Hello again. Recently I have been studying many chess openings and midgame theory. When trying to apply the knowledge I gained to a live chess game, the results were terrible. Then I had an idea. My plan was to go back to my roots, play the openings I was most comfortable with, and then try to apply the basic principals of what I have studied. The first game I played with this in mind was possibly the best game of my life. I was positionally sound, and when the tactics presented themselves, I took advantage! Below is the game, feel free to comment on it as you please. What I learned from this experience is when your game is slumping, return to your roots!
