when to say uncle

I hate when a chess player does not know when he is beat ..if you have a king versus a king and a queen ...(resign stupid you are beat) why drag a useless game out over two or three days cause your pride is hurt ,,if you hate to lose you have two chooses ...dont play chess or become very,very good at the game, so in closing if you are losing badly be a man and resign..
